Kristen Eberly, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, smiling on the beach in San Diego, offering therapy support for moms and moms of twins.

Hi, I’m Kristen

Becoming a mom is one of the biggest transitions in life — and it doesn’t always feel the way you thought it would. I know this firsthand, as a mom of three (including twins) who’s experienced the exhaustion, pressure, self-doubt, and identity shifts that can come with being a mom.

I also know the quieter worries moms carry — the guilt of wondering if you’re doing enough, the fear you’re somehow “messing up” your little one(s), and the loneliness of feeling like no one else really understands. That’s why I created a space for moms to feel supported, understood, and less alone.

My Experience & Training

Alongside my lived experience, I’ve spent over a decade specializing in maternal and early childhood mental health. I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #82625) in California.

I’ve completed advanced training in:

  • Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (Postpartum Support International)
Specialized training to support moms navigating anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, irritability, rage, and the emotional weight of this life transition.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
A powerful approach for processing trauma, difficult birth experiences, or overwhelming moments that still affect daily life.

  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) & Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Training that gave me a deeper understanding of how stress, overwhelm, and emotional health shape the parent-child relationship. What I know now is that moms are often told to “stay calm so you don’t mess up your kids,” but rarely given the tools or support to make that possible. My work focuses on filling that gap — giving you the missing support so you can parent with intention, not pressure.

  • Attachment-Based & Play Therapy Approaches
These approaches inform how I understand mom-child connection, co-regulation, and healthy relationship building.

This combination — clinical expertise, specialized maternal and early childhood mental health training, and personal experience as a mom (and twin mom) — allows me to support not only your emotional health, but also your ability to feel more present, connected, and confident in yourself as a mom..

What Therapy With Me Feels Like:

I don’t believe you need to be “fixed.” You love your kids, but you don’t want to feel this stressed, anxious, or unsure of yourself — and you don’t have to keep pushing through on your own.

Therapy with me is a partnership. You bring your real-life experiences, and I bring clinical expertise and years of supporting moms. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re going through and find practical ways to feel better.

In our work, you’ll have:

  • A space to put down the weight you’ve been carrying

  • Tools that actually fit into real mom life (not a perfect version of it)

  • A steady reminder that you don’t have to figure this out alone

My role is to walk alongside you, so you can feel steadier day to day, more confident in yourself, and more connected to the kind of mom you want to be.

A Little About Me:

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family. As a family, we love going to the beach or exploring around San Diego, whether it’s hiking or just getting outside together. At home, I’m usually managing the everyday chaos of family life and trying to sneak in a few quiet minutes with a book.

I also make time for F45 workouts, which have become an important outlet for me to recharge and manage stress.

Being a mom has stretched me in ways I never expected, and it’s also why I’m so passionate about helping other moms feel supported. I know how heavy it can feel to carry so much on your own — and I want you to know you don’t have to.

If you’re ready to feel supported and confident in your role as a mom, I’d love to connect.
